FULLY BOOKED Punchlines – comedy night at the Frontline Club

Talk April 5, 2012 7:00 PM

Join us for an evening of comedy at the Frontline Club. PUNCHLINES our new monthly event will feature the comic talents of Paul Chowdhry, Jen Brister, Suzi Ruffell and others.

PAUL CHOWDHRY is one of Britain’s top stand-up comedy talents. He headlined the recent Channel 4 series STAND UP FOR THE WEEK and in May will perform at the O2 Arena alongside comedy legends Jo Brand, Lee Evans and Michael McIntyre.

Described as “outrageously funny” by Metro and “gorgeously talented” by Time Out, JEN BRISTER is a veteran of the comedy circuit and a master of self-deprecating charm. She joins us fresh from a successful run at the Adelaide festival.

“Hugely likeable” according to Time Out, SUZI RUFFELL brings an infectious energy and confidence to her jokes, which in a very short time have established her as rising star.

DAPHNA BARAM comes to stand-up from a background in law and journalism which she mines to hilarious effect.

DAVID MILLS is Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2011 and something of a comedy auteur with punchlines that are as sharp and chic as his fashion sense.

The evening will also features spots from new acts CHRIS BROSHANAN and DAVID GREEN.

MC: PEYVAND KHORSANDI.

Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm. Please arrive early to ensure seats.
