On Friday 13 May 2016, we were joined by a panel of experts to discuss Cuba’s future and what it means for ordinary Cubans. Speakers included (L-R) Emilio San Pedro an editor for BBC Monitoring, the event was chaired by Juliana Ruhfus, senior reporter at Al Jazeera English, BBC’s Cuba Correspondent Will Grant (via Skype), Michael Voss a CCTV correspondent based in Cuba and Helen Yaffe, a fellow in the Economic History department at the London School of Economics (LSE).
