Are you constantly worried?
Just how do you report from a country under the control of a dictatorial regime? That’s the question posed in this half hour NPR programme,
â€œThis is a dangerous job,â€ [Ethan Bronner, New York Times Jerusalem bureau chief] said, citing the kidnapping and murder of the late Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in Karachi, Pakistan in 2002, as an example of an incident that â€œbrought pause to a whole fraternity of foreign correspondents.â€ But, he concluded, â€œIf youâ€™re constantly worried, this isnâ€™t the job for you.â€ link
