Special Event: Lockerbie, the case for an inquiry with Dr Jim Swire

Talk Friday 11th September, 2009

Controversy continues over the release of Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi and since his return to Tripoli last month diplomatic relations with Libya have been thrown deeper into the spotlight.
Join us at the Frontline Club for a special event that will bring together a distinguished panel to discuss the evidence that would have emerged had Megrahi’s case gone to appeal and the need for a full inquiry into the entire history of Lockerbie: Dr Jim Swire, whose daughter Flora was among the 270 killed when Pan Am Flight 103 exploded over Lockerbie; human rights lawyer Gareth Peirce; Oliver Miles, UK ambassador to Libya until 1984 and the chairman of MEC International.
