Declan Walsh has hunted Osama bin Laden, reported on breweries in Pakistan
and witnessed the repercussions of last summer’s war in Lebanon. Photography, his second strength, is as striking as his writing.

Joining the Guardian as Pakistan/Afghanistan correspondent three years ago
