Here’s To Byline Festival 2018

The Club tent had some brilliant acts and events this year at Byline festival. Despite the classic British festival weather, the team powered through and we had a great turnout. The kitchen staff cooked some fantastic food, particularly for the freelancer social and networking dinner on Saturday night. The bar staff also worked tirelessly; ensuring everyone was having a great and memorable weekend. We had an amazing time, and want to thank everyone who joined us over the course of the festival!

Our tent was busy and well-lit; warm and inviting in the cold! We hosted a variety of musical acts as well as some comedy and ukulele from Abi Simpson.

The Club tent was bustling all weekend; the freelancer dinner provided both aspiring journalists with the opportunity to network as well as veterans with years of experience the chance to share memories.

Frontline also hosted music from Derek Day, a talk with Guy Pratt, a quiz with Chris Morris, and poetry with Livewire to name a few.

Club members, festival guests, and Frontline staff were all able to socialise at the bar and restaurant area. Prosecco on tap, home-brewed mulled cider, and delicious food prepared by the Club kitchen kept everyone warm in the rainy weather.

Byline celebrates political activism and honest unaffiliated journalism, and Frontline is proud to be in partnership with them. We look forward to seeing you next year at Byline Festival 2019!
