Frontline Club Networking Party: Freelance video journalism showcase

Talk Wednesday 21st April, 2010

For our next Frontline Club networking party, we’re inviting members, guests and friends to join us in celebrating the very best in independent video journalism.

Meet new people and network in the club’s Forum room and enjoy some complimentary drinks and good conversation.

Are you a filmmaker? Would you like to submit a five-minute film to show on the night for future video showcase events? If so get in touch via [email protected].

We’ll be showing films on the night from journalists including:

— Frontline Club founder Vaughan Smith, who recently reported from Helmand province in Afghanistan,

— Producer and director Daniel Bogado will be showcasing his new documentary on South Africa, made with David Matthews and commissioned by Current TV

— Solo camerman and reporter Chris Terrill will show a compilation of his work

— Freelance film-maker Cameron Robertson, who regularly contributes to Guardian.co.uk

We have complimentary drinks for guests at this event, courtesy of Chivas Regal and Beefeater Gin.
