Third-Party Event: Charity Party and Scrabble Tournament

Talk Saturday 21st April, 2007

All standards welcome! Drinks, canapes and prizes.  A donation of £35
will be requested for tournament entry.  All proceeds of the evening
go to Facing the World’s Iraq Appeal.

Last time a distinguished Frontline member made it to the final, and
though he’ll be a hard act to follow, all Frontline members are very
welcome.

Tournament places are limited.

Facing the World (www.facingtheworld.net) is a cranio-facial surgery
charity providing life-changing surgery in the UK for children from
countries without the necessary medical technology.  This evening is
in aid of an Iraqi child, Ali Hussein, who Facing the World is
sponsoring.  The organiser, Monica Garnsey, is a documentary maker who
introduced Ali Hussein to Facing the World in 2003 after making a
documentary film about him for Channel 4.
