POSTPONED Screening – Victory Day

With intrigue, suspense, and action, Victory Day follows investigative journalist Sam Cassels as he attempts to overthrow an exiled Russian oligarch involved in sex trafficking in Prague.

Having been deported from Russia and settling in the Czech Republic, Sean begins to untangle a web of lies surrounding the changing landscape of Russian politics after the fall of the Soviet Union in the 1990s.

While attempting to rescue a prostitute and simultaneously expose the corrupt system newly forming in Russia, Sean takes the law into his own hands to reveal the truth. Set from the 1990s to the present, Victory Day offers a little seen fictional glimpse into the enigma of modern Russia and war reporting.
