Windrush: The Scandal Isn’t Over

Amelia Gentleman’s tenacious and meticulous reporting of the Windrush scandal shocked the nation. She revealed how thousands of law-abiding citizens had been wrongly classified as illegal immigrants through the government’s ‘hostile environment’ immigration policy and, as a consequence, many of them were removed from the country, or lost their homes and their jobs.
