The week ahead at the Frontline Club

We have recently announced an addition to our May programme - next week Leila Ahmed, the first professor of Women’s Studies in Religion at Harvard University will be with us to discuss the veil, Muslim women, Islamism and democracy.

Tonight we will be discussing the realignment taking place across the Arab world with a particular focus on Iran, Saudi Arabia and Israel. The panel will include Al Jazeera's senior political analyst Marwan Bishara, Abdel Bari Atwan, editor-in-chief of Al-Quds Al-Arabi and William Morris, secretary general of the Next Century Foundation.

This week's Sunday screening Donor Unknown explores the strange power of genetic connections, following JoEllen Marsh as she embarks on a journey to find her sperm donar father and discovers 12 half-siblings on her way.
