Burden of History explores the position of women in Afghanistan five years after the end of Taliban rule. This investigation takes in shocking personal testimonies and interviews key individuals who battle against the extreme prejudice that exists in Afghan society.
In spite of promises made by the international community to protect human rights, it seeks to ask what life is really like now for Afghan women?
