Ahead of the July 22nd parliamentary elections, BBC's Ben Hammersley travelled across Turkey examining tensions between Ataturk's secular legacy and Islam in a social media experiment.
Hammersley filed to his personal blog, uploaded photos to Flickr, video to YouTube, posted snippets of text to the microblogging site Twitter, bookmarked research on the social bookmarking site del.icio.us and networked with people through Facebook.
His coverage culminated in the documentary Our World: Turkish Journey.
